Don’t be afraid to uproot your life every once in a while. There is potent magic in the ability to reach into the soil of yourself and shake things up, to get the nutrients flowing, to unearth new parts of yourself that were perhaps suffocating under old habits and patterns.
Uprooting can be a beautiful thing. A sacred process – a ritual, even. I’m adverse to stagnancy. I always have been. And i think its because both of my parents have succumb to it. They wouldn’t call it that, and maybe to them it isn’t. But i can tell they haven’t spent their lives dedicating themselves to growth and healing and becoming the best versions of themselves, and that’s ok because their generation wasn’t taught how to heal themselves. But to me, that’s settling for stagnancy. The theme of my life is becoming “just keep going, just keep growing”.
So many people praise external stability, but what happens when maintaining an image begins to feel more like you’re a prisoner to the life that you created? It’s ok – you did what you thought you had to do – you weren’t raised to know any better. But once you do know better and you feel that fire engulf your heart space, then it is your duty to your soul and the souls of the ones who will come after you to DO something about it. Free yourself.
Freedom is often said to be comprised of three main things: time, money and energy. It is hard to have easy freedom without all three, yet it is rare in this world when all three are present. Don’t let the lack of one or more of these things to stop you from following your path to full soul-freedom. By soul-freedom I mean – doing the thing that makes your eyes light up and your heart swell, things that would enrich your life in ways outside of the ego – ways that would lead toward true growth and fulfillment on a soul level, ways that would expand to touch lives outside of your own and show other souls that they’re never trapped, never stuck. That it’s only an illusion. That you’re free, NOW. So tell me, what are you going to do with your freedom?
